The Pincio is considered
to be one of the most evocative panoramic points of the Region, overlooking
the countryside and the Potenza valley, with a view of Recanati, Loreto
and Monte Conero. This site is particularly suitable for taking photograps
and videos. In Piazzale Giacomo Leopardi there is a reproduction of
the pyramid of Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires, as a reminder of the numerous
citizens of the town who emigrated to Argentina. Nearby is the church
of San Francesco, of 13th century origins, rebuilt in the second half
of the 18th century. Inside there are fragments of 14th century frescoes
and many works of art of the 1700s.
Next to this church, in Via Trento, there is the building which houses
the town library, Art Gallery and historical archives. |

There is a small
collection of arms, some antiphonaries and missals, religious objects
from various centuries and about 25 paintings, from different churches
in the area, including works by Simone de Magistris and the Pomarancio
school.
